A fortune telling story...

About 2 months ago, I was in Paris with JB. We were sitting down having our lunch when one old and dirty lady came up to us and offer a fortune telling for JB. At the beginning, she didn't ask if we wanted. Instead, she said something about JB's past which in turn, gave JB a shock. She was quite true about the things she said it was regarding his ex-wife and his past. So at this time, JB got interested and wanting her to say more. Telling him that he is rich but somehow some woman just took his money away and it is true though. She said he got a black spell and offer to take off the black spell away for him. Which I came to realize that it was his ex who put some spell on him. I don't know if I believe in black magic but JB told me that she did practice some black magic.

Anyway, after she told him that he will have a big project at work after 42 days which I don't know if its the one he had done for the other boss. He was told to be a spy to check on other project in Germany which is not within his job scoop. Perhaps that's his BIG PROJECT! LOL...

After, the old lady offer me the fortune telling. And I hesitated for a while as I don't know what she will say and if I do believe her or not. So first of all, she told me I will live till 96 years old. WOW!!! That's long... And I will die during my sleep. Well, good start, at least that is what I wish for if I die. Then she told me that I am a very lucky woman and my luck is not from my family and friends but from myself. Perhaps she's right... After she told me I will have 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl. At least that's what I hope for. After, she said my life will change into a better one after 3 months. Which is I think 1-1 1/2 months later. We'll see if its true. Besides that she said a lot of people are jealous of me, which perhaps I think its true. So she said she can help to take off the jealousy eyes for me and the black magic for JB. But she hope we can give her a bit more money. Then we said, if she can really take off the black magic and the jealousy eyes and our life really change like what she said, then, we will return and give her more money.

Well, what do you think? Is it a kind of trick just to fool us? But there are too many coincidences right? I don't know but let's see if my life is changing for the better in just 1-1 1/2 months later. LOL...

A trip to Venice (part 1)

Venice is a island made up of approximately 180 islands and within all the islands, there are about 400 bridges connecting all the islands. Between the islands, there are canals and basically, Venice is living on the sea. Year by year, the number of floods are increasing thus, the government are trying ways to save this beautiful city.

This photo is taken on one of the bridges in Venice. As you can see behind, there are so many Gondola on the canal, this is typical of Venice as their main transportation is by the boats;water buses, water taxis and the Gondola. There are no vehicles in Venice. To get from one point to the other, you will have to travel by water or by walking. We love to walk in Venice as we can spend the whole day walking in this beautiful island.


Look behind the church, this is the main center of Venice, very famous of the plaza. This place is called San Marco place. During the day, the plaza is full of pigeons which you will be able to feed them by buying the corns located at the side of the plaza. They will fly to your hand if you have corns in your hand. During the night, this place will become so romantic. The restaurants hired some band to play some classical music. You will be able to dance in the plaza with the music if you like. Of cos, this will be a very romantic memories remind in your heart. But, look at my stomach, a little bigger? Hee...


Look at this photo. We were at a small restaurant and JB wanted to take this photo. He's being funny and said that it would be nice if he could sleep like that. "Cheri, if u are going to sleep like that, you will have a stiff neck after."
We went to this restaurant as we were not able to find the restaurant we wanted to go at the beginning. It is a small restaurant and they have a limited choice of food. We wasn't happy with the food though, but we had no choice because we were rushing to watch the 'Regata Storica.'

So, this photo was taken at a small village gathering. One of JB's friend in Italy. It's a small village and they were having a gathering for the fire works. We were invited to the party and it was nice. First time I've seen this kind of party. Though it was raining after the dinner and they had to put the fireworks in advance, but it was a nice time together with them. The Bovo family was really nice to us.
